For over two decades, Melanie Baird has used her fun, friendly, and creative personality to truly excel as a mobile make-up artist. She has made a name for herself by making women feel confident and beautiful without the look of heavy makeup. Melanie worked at MAC Cosmetics in Victoria for over eight years before taking her talents to the next level as a freelance professional make-up artist. Melanie has exhibited her unique style at over 1000 weddings, in addition to contributing to a number of television shows, including Canadian Idol, Canada’s Next Great Chef, and Kool Countdown. She also worked at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games Closing Ceremonies and has provided her expertise for countless magazine features, editorial and print ads, music videos, CD covers, movies, commercials and even a finalist on Canada’s Next Top Model. This year she did BITE Beauty Founder Susanne Langmuir's makeup for her recent Movember Sephora Video, while also doing current Lieutenant Governor Judy Guichon's makeup for her official photo. What an honor!!

She is a wealth of information and is eager to share her knowledge. Being a animal lover and animal welfare activist she is dedicated to finding and using new cruelty free products in her kit. Owning several dogs and bunnies, she feels the need to be their voice!
